The Impact of Illness

Today, I want to discuss a major issue…when I first meet with investors, I rarely find that they have accounted for the impact of a long term illness in retirement. You may have saved enough, but what if one partner ends up in a nursing home? Financially, an early death may have less impact than a prolonged stay in a nursing home. If your plan does not account for this, you need to meet with an advisor and discuss your options.
